Claire in the remake premise
The remake’s official store synopsis follows Claire’s search for Chris and her capture by Umbrella. Her position at the center of the premise is different from confirmation of a complete playable-character roster.

From Raccoon City to Rockfort Island
Capcom’s Claire archive presents her as a university student looking for her brother when she becomes caught in Raccoon City’s outbreak. Leon helps her survive; the archive later links him to informing Chris about her captivity on Rockfort Island.
That background explains why Claire, Chris and Leon appear together in discussions of this period. Mentioning Leon as part of continuity does not itself establish an on-screen remake role.
The red-jacket connection
Capcom’s costume retrospective places Claire’s RE2, Code: Veronica and Revelations 2 outfits side by side and highlights her red biker-jacket identity. It is historical costume context, not a confirmation of unlockable outfits or paid remake costumes.

What to read next
Chris’s dossier covers the family connection from the other side. Steve’s page adds a separate original-game relationship, with later events hidden behind a spoiler control. The main Story page keeps the remake setup separate from those retrospective details.
Use the current official gallery for remake appearance references. An old costume illustration, guidebook image or fan redesign should never be presented as a newly released remake render.
